Why is my popcorn tough?
I’ve bought several different brands, tried canola oil, orville redenbacher popping oil, bacon grease. I’ve tried on stovetop and in my new cuisinart popper. It is always tough, and the most recent purchase was supposed to be good til Oct 2007 and was in an airtight plastic jar with foil seal. What gives? Any fixes to stale popcorn?
